Maribel Vargas is the Human Resources Manager at Advent Resources, where she fosters a positive workplace culture built on trust, transparency, and professional development. With over 15 years of experience in HR, Maribel brings deep expertise in employee relations, compliance, recruiting, and benefits administration.

A graduate of California State University, Los Angeles, Maribel earned her degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management. During her time in college, she helped launch career development programs designed to guide students in identifying career paths aligned with their strengths and interests – an early reflection of her passion for people and their growth.

Maribel began her career in the education sector, helping to establish HR guidelines and training programs across multiple school districts in the Los Angeles area. She played an integral role in building the company’s HR department from the ground up and eventually led its recruiting efforts across a wide range of roles and locations.

Since joining Advent Resources, Maribel has led HR operations with a focus on hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance. She oversees the full employee lifecycle and ensures that Advent maintains a safe, supportive, and inclusive work environment for all team members. Her leadership is instrumental in administering employee benefits programs, ensuring workplace safety, and aligning HR practices with the company’s mission and growth goals.
