Ben Gill has dedicated over 20 years of his career to the automotive industry, playing a key role in the growth and success of Advent Resources. As CEO, Ben is committed to bringing unprecedented efficiency to the car deal, the most critical part of a dealership’s sales process.

Ben began his journey at Advent Resources alongside his father, Tim Gill (Owner), and Ysidro Salinas (Founder and Owner). Over the years, he worked his way up through roles in Customer Success, Product Development, Accounting, Inside Sales, and ultimately, Director of Sales before being named President in 2016.
​
Early in his career, Ben recognized a serious issue plaguing dealerships: switching between multiple, disjointed sales systems was costing them time, money, and customers. These systems often featured inaccurate and inconsistent interest rates, taxes, residuals, incentives, and payment details.
​
To solve this, Ben partnered with Advent’s software developers and engineers to create a unified deal calculator designed to ensure dealer compliance and regulatory accuracy. The result is a single source of truth for dealership sales - delivering consistent, accurate data from first interaction to final delivery.

Under Ben’s leadership, Advent Resources has built strategic integrations with lenders, OEMs, DMS platforms, CRMs, and digital retailing partners. Today, the Advent Advantage system powers millions of car deals every year and helps leading dealerships cut transaction times by 50%.

Originally from Canada, Ben now resides in Southern California with his wife and four children.
