Our document scanner is just that; an administration-free document scanning solution. To use you simply print a key page from the transaction which contains a barcode, basic transaction data and description and inserts it as page one in the document stack and hits one button, Send to system.
It’s what we call a duplex scanner which scans both sides of the document package in a single pass, optically scanning the data and building and encrypted electronic packet that is securely stored as a PDF file in the transaction record.
What’s that mean?
The documents are able to be recalled anytime directly from the deal record and the content of the package can be searched for specific language or pages and they are completely secure giving you full control over who gets to see the document.
Every scanned document is automatically & immediately indexed and searchable.
That’s right, most scanners simply take a photograph of the document and must be labeled and indexed manually. This is a painfully tedious process no one should have to do.
What we’ve done is make it so anytime a document is scanned, whether it is handwritten, or computer-generated, the scanning solution actually reads the text through optical character recognition (OCR) which fully indexes the document for you, making it fully accessible and searchable in a snap.
