- From the Inventory Control menu, select <1 - Create Inventory> to create a new vehicle record.
- Enter the VIN, make, model and option information and dollar amounts.
- Using <F2 - Additional functions>, enter any additional deal added options and accessories in the vehicle adds menu item and include cost amount, sale amount and residual amount if applicable.
- Add option information in Standard equipment (Additional functions number 6).
- Assign a status to the vehicle.
- Press <F9 - Exit/Save> to create the record.
- Go to Accounting Control, Vehicle posting to initiate sending the data on the unit(s) to your legacy accounting system. Web Top clients do not have to perform this step.
