Do  You Miss These Key Things in your Dealership?

I did. And I was angry as Hell.

I was told the tools would help me run the dealership better. But I ended up adding a few more hours to my day in front of a Damn Computer.

Having a tool that shows you every single event that happens in your dealership, from the activities your sales team is supposed to perform – and the ability to make sure they do them. From, appointments scheduling. Did the appointments get made? and what was the outcome. Follow-up emails and calls, Were they sequenced correctly? Were they even made at all?

I mean these things are supposed to be happening but a dealership doesn’t thrive on what’s supposed to happen.

Have no way of really knowing stresses me out and kills my sales. I need something that can help me do what I do best, Manage. But I can’t manage in the dark. And without the ability of seeing whether the proper sales activities are taking place is essentially managing in the dark.

I’ve been asked: What do you need to have the greatest impact on your dealership’s bottom line?

Would effective tools help? I mean, not just “Our company provides th most powerful CRM software….blah blah blah” that every vendor keeps claiming they have.

Yes tools should help, but they hardly live up to the pitch.

As a Manager I want control. Control that helps me see everything. Access to all the information and things that happen under my roof. The power to see if -what needs to get done- is getting done.

I’m talking real control. I don’t care about powerful software if it becomes one more thing I have to manage. I want more control of my dealership not more time in front of a screen. It’s gotta be easy to use.

I like tools like I like my cars, equipped with Real Horsepower but designed for Comfort Refinement and Convenience. I want to know that  I got 300 horses under my hood, and a six speed transmission, but it’s the Blenheim Leather seats and real wood veneer trim that makes such  power a pleasure to drive.
